NCLR has been preserving and promoting North Carolina’s rich literary culture for over thirty years and counting. Through these decades we have published hundreds of literary authors, introduced new voices, and shed light on writers forgotten through time.
And you, our readers, continue to show us how much more work there is to do. There are new young writers coming out of our amazing writing departments from colleges across the state. Writers are moving to North Carolina to be a part of our diverse culture and history. Authors and poets continue to find interesting stories in North Carolina history. We know in our hearts NCLR will be around for another thirty years, and more.
