Digital Editor Devra Thomas will be joining authors Vanessa Miller (The American Queen), Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle (Even As We Breathe), and Terry Roberts (The Sky Club) to facilitate a workshop on using North Carolina literature in any humanities classroom at any grade level.
Based off the work of NCLR‘s ongoing project of gathering and sharing ways teachers are using NC literature in their classrooms, we’ll work with identifying stories, helping students make connections between past and present, and reaching out to authors for in-class visits.
