Saturday Review in 2022! Since pre-registration for fall began at ECU yesterday. this week’s review is by NCLR Senior Editorial Assistant Megan Smith, a reminder of the opportunity at ECU to join the NCLR staff. Megan reviewed The Good Luck Stone by Heather Bell Adams, who won the 2021 Doris Betts Fiction Prize. Working with NCLR gives students like Megan not only the opportunity to write book reviews but also an inside look at contests like this one, demystifying the contest procedures and, we hope, inspiring them to submit their writing.
